My late mother in law Tricia Crawford was an amazing person. One of her many gifts was to make every person feel special. Together with her wonderful friends Ellen Summerfield and Phil Pirages, they created a local organization called the Give a Little Foundation whose design is to be a community-supported safety net for those with nowhere else to turn. For every 10 classes purchased, I will donate a Free Give-a-Little Class Pass to the YogaJoy Scholarship Fund. Anyone can use it. Simply tell a person in need to show up for their class and ask to use a Free Give-a-Little Class Pass.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds to attend a class at YogaJoy. All that we ask is that whatever the class was worth to you, please pay that forward.

"best yoga class ever!" - TC age 60
I am a mother, wife, teacher. Attending classes with me is about choosing to move in the world with more grace. My intention is to inspire you to enjoy Yoga so much you will practice on your own and feel confident attending more yoga classes.
Though mindfulness was part of my upbringing, my formal yoga teaching education began in 2011 with Amy Cooper in my hometown of Mt. Shasta California. I have continued to study with prominent teachers up and down the West coast, typically senior Iyengar practitioners. I believe in the healing powers of mindfulness and bodyfulness and my work is to embody and share the wisdom my elders have taught me, then simply show up with integrity and teach the best that I can.
I teach the person not the pose. Every person’s motivation and ability to practice yoga is different. Week to week, each class is designed to build upon the foundations learned in previous classes.
The impact is inspiration.
Inspiration to move, breathe deeper and live more fully.
